Eid Mubarak. I know you guys are still in Raya mode, having all those open house invitations.
Our holidays started with driving back to Ipoh on Friday and as usual, did some preparation for the day. It's a must to have my mom's rendang pedas ayam, rendang daging kering and the best kuah kacang (ever!).
We also went to Penang and Pantai Remis (Imran's parents hometown) and to Kemunting for our friend's wedding.
The best part was, the big Halijah/Dukut Family Gathering on the fourth of Raya with Bowling Tournament in the morning at Ampang Super Bowls, and family dinner feast in the evening at Ipoh Town Hall. But I missed the dinner, since I had to stay in the hospital, taking care of my dad, admitted of low blood pressure. [Alhamdulillah he's ok now and has been discharged]
Imran and me had a great Raya with great foods (termasuklah nasi kandar Deen in Penang and his fav laksa mee - only in Pantai Remis). Too much foods, I can say. And have gained weight! Ha-ha!
And now, we're back in Klang Valley, start working today and considering for another trips of visiting friends and relatives. :)
