On Thursday, June 24, a small birthday bash for K.Aida and Maziah was held at Diamond, KL. Bukan apa pun, just a small party. Makan nasi kukus, ayam bakar and ada doughnuts - selalunya orang makan kek, tapi saya beri idea untuk tukar sikit. Instead of cake, doughnuts could also be a surprise. It's sweet as well, anyway!

Big Apple was it. Love it!

I saw this in one of the mamak restaurant at Putrawalk, Seri Kembangan. Tak ingat apa nama restaurant tu, but this one is interesting to me.

Black and Orange Flower Hairclips

These are new from miss.leli.lott. I can see black and white flower looks great as hair clips. So, I made two versions, black & white and white & black. [Oh, what's the different?]

One was made of black organza and white satin. The other one was of white organza and black velvet. And some beads were sewn in the middle. And I attached the to the barrette clips.

And the other ones, are orange and white. Made of orange organza and white satin. This one looks great on your head too!

Baby's Headband

Hello,

This is Alya, she's my niece. And she's wearing a very beautiful brown-flower headband. Handmade of chiffon, tulle and ribbon. Pearl beads sewn in the middle.

Actually, the making was a quick one. All materials were recycled. Chiffon, tulle and ribbon were taken from my mum's "Pandora's box". The pearls were recycled from a "bunga telur" of someone's wedding. Ha-ha!

Hey, it's still a sweet one even it's made of secondhand materials. Thinking of making this one in various colours next time. Thinking of commercializing them!

Salam dan hello...

Sekarang saya sedang usahakan satu set Flower Barrette untuk dihadiahkan pada anak-anak murid perempuan saya di kelas tuition yang 6 orang tu. Semalam dapat siapkan dua Flower On Your Head Barrettes - Red Rose dan Japanese Rose. Pagi tadi satu - Sunflower. Hampir siap - satu lagi Pink Rose.

Tapi untuk yang lelaki yang 6 orang tu nak kasi apa ye? Hmm...

Lovely Birthday Card [1]

This is my first home.hand.made card for my first loved-one's 28th birthday. It's been a long time I haven't made any handmade card cause I've got not much time for making it. Well, anyway, this one is not that bad. I just spent only one night to finish it together with the wordings inside the card. I hope he loved it and still have it!

There's a little touch of Betz White on the card.

Sejak diminta mencari satu perniagaan ni, saya terfikir untuk memulakan bisnes yang memang lama nak buat, tapi tak kesampaian. Maklum la, agak busy sket sejak 2 tahun ni...

Dulu pernah idamkan nak buat gift set yang ada handmade gift dalam handmade box, ada handmade tag dan ada handmade card. How's that? Sounds cool, ain't it? But, to make it happen, I need times to focus on it. Tapi tengok la, mana la nak ada banyak masa, siang malam kerja. Mungkin saya perlu berhenti kerja kot untuk focus pada urusan ni. Hmm... mungkin akan tiba masanya. Hehe... (o^_^o)

Well, apapun, akan saya usahakan sedikit demi sedikit. Idea banyak, modal ada la jugak, MASA tu je yang sangat-sangat lah kurangnya. Gambattey kudasai, Leli-san!

Lasagne? Again?

Raudhah sent me sms saying "Tetiba... terbayang lasagna la... emmm chedapnyer..."
Then, just to sakat her, I called her. Saja tanya apsal tetiba je? Mengada!

"Kau tengah masak lasagne ke, yang sampai aku teringin nak makan ni?"
"Mana kau tau ni?" Saja usik dia.
"Eh, betul ke ni?"
Gelak. "Mana ada la, aku tengah book tiket teater Natrah ni. Nak join?"
"Hey, bestnya... nak ikut. Bila? Kau gi ngan sape?"
"Sorang" Hehe!
"Laa... nape g sorang? Aku nak join, ajak Fatin sekali,"
"Okey, I'll book for another two."

And it's done. I've booked the ticket for three. Tak tau jadi ke tak. Just book.

And... about the lasagne, yeah, Raudhah dah buatkan aku terasa nak makan lasagne! Mungkinkah aku akan masak Homemade Chicken Lasagne untuk kesekian kalinya? Mungkinkah?

Laksa Aidil Adha

Salam,

Sempena Aidil Adha kali ini saya buatkan Laksa Penang. Ida pun ada tolong saya masak. Tahun lepas saya sediakan Mee Rebus. Dan seperti tahun lepas juga, tahun ini Ayah datang beraya dengan saya di Sepang. Macam biasa, dia bekalkan Kuah Kacang Emak, Rendang Ayam Emak dan Rendang Daging Emak.

Kali ini special sikit... sebab dua tiga sahabat saya pun ada datang beraya. [hehehe... yang bestnya, SiDear pun ada!]

Malamnya pulak, Nurul datang dengan kawan lelaki dia. Diorang baru balik dari beraya di rumah kawan.

Tapi sayang, takde gambar. Tak mengapa, laksa banyak lebih, sahabat-sahabat tapau, Ayah bawak balik untuk Emak rasa dan komen [maklum la, itu yang pertama kali dibuat tanpa bantuan Emak]. Emak kata ok, cuma saya guna ikan kembung besar - kurang sedap sikit. [takpe, lain kali boleh improve]. Thanks Emak!

Tahun depan apa pula ye?
